I was born in NYC and raised on Long Island which is all forest. I am currently staying in beautiful rural upstate NY just south of the state capitol. Yesterday people had a deer get hit by another car that launched it through the windshield and into the back of their Chevy Tahoe and none of the 5 occupants were seriously injured.



The article then mentioned 14,000 deer were hit by cars in NY State between Sep 2007 and Oct 2008!
